The traditional system works for the seller, not you. I don't make this up. Wisconsin state statutes say that if you don't have a contract with an agent, the agent works for the seller. So, on one side of the transaction are the seller, listing agent and selling agent - all working for the seller. On your side is you. It's time to level the playing field. We can save you money. The recent average list price to sale price for the four county area was 96.5%. That means if the sellers listed their home for sale for $150,000, their home sold for $144,750. Homebuyer Associates' average purchase price for the 4-county area is 93.5%. That means if the sellers listed their home for sale for $150,000, our clients bought their home for $140,250 - a savings of $4,500 to our clients.

We have a process to search for homes for you daily. We will search the MLS and For Sale by Owner market for homes which meet your wants and needs. We may recommend not to buy certain homes. Years ago we suggested a client not buy a home we had looked at because our research said a two lane road in front of the home may be widened to 4 lanes in the future. Our client continued looking and eventually purchased another home. That client called us 3 years after the fact and said, "Thanks for recommending we not buy that home we looked at early on. We drove past it the other day and there's now a 4-lane road in front of it."
