| Blockface: | Is the neighborhood
comprised of single family, duplex or multi-family homes? Research owner-occupancy of the block face. |
| Basement: | Look at any obvious signs of moisture or settlement cracks. Estimate the age of the furnace and determine if the electrical service is circuit breaker or fuse. These observations are just that, observations. A written report should be obtained by a certified home inspector. |
| Layout: | Is the layout something that fits your lifestyle? What is the condition of the interior, i.e. painting, carpeting and overall cosmetics? |
| Exterior: | Is the home frame painted, brick or sided? Is the home clad to limit the amount of exterior maintenance required? |
| Roof: | Estimate the
age of the roof pending an actual inspection by a certified home inspector.
Is the roof the first, second or third roof and approximately what age? |
